Sounds pretty solid, you have some great secondary transcripts to make up for any GPA deficiencies from undergrad as you know.
What are you doing now in marketing and why is that not getting the job done for you? How are you sure that management consulting is going to make you happy?
I do think that it would be important to build a bridge between where you are now and where you want to be and the necessity for an MBA. If you can build a convincing case for management consulting, it's well-known that an MBA is required for that industry, and so if I'm convinced that you have an authentic desire to do that and it connects the dots with your past, then I see that as being a viable plan.
Do you have any International experience or exposure? What do you see as the three top things could you contribute to your classmates in a discussion or outside the classroom?
I'm interested in learning more about the quality of your work experience. Do you have some people leadership, project leadership, cross-functional team experience?
If you've played a consultative role in marketing in an organization which gave rise to an interest in management consulting I think that would be a pretty viable story.
