I think your profile looks very strong for Northwestern and Columbia. I do not know as much about the schools in England. When did you take the GRE, your title says it is old. Also, why did you have to repeat some undergrad courses?
Be sure that you take your really strong resume of accomplishments and integrate leadership and innovation elements, and why you need the MBA to make this career transition. As far as scholarships, you will likely get some scholarship at these top tier shcools, but will be offered more scholarship money at lower ranked schools.

Best-

Thanks for the review, Jane. It was really helpful!! I was actually a bit nervous if I would be at a comparative disadvantage by submitting GRE scores instead of GMAT, but your review does not identify it as a problem.

I referred to my GRE as old because it's the old 1600 format; I gave it in 2010.

As for repeating the course, the way it worked at my undergrad institution, the final exam accounted for 70% of the grade. I missed a couple of them -once for health reasons and the other time because of a high-profile debating tournament. However, I hope my markedly better performance in graduate school would help allay the adcom's concerns about my academic ability.

Most definetly be sure to check with all of the schools you are applying to about GRE versus GMAT as each school can somewhat differ.

You will need to provide a compelling reason for the repeat classes as there are more than one. If you think it through properly you can turn it into a positive somehow I am sure in terms of adversity-leadership-committment; not knowing the whole story I am not sure, but I am guessing based on my read of you, that there was a compelling set of circumstances.
