Is there any way for you to boost that GMAT score? If you are able to score 700, you will be competitive for all the schools you mentioned as the rest of your profile is definitely in the mix.

With your current score, all the US schools you mentioned except for maybe Georgetown are going to be stretches.

Hi Alex, Thanks for the response.

It's definitely possible for me to boost my gmat score. I only took it once, though its been almost two years now.

That said, I'm probably not going to take it again unless I can't get into anywhere for the fall of 2010. I know the score is on the lower end, but I'm hoping my experience helps to balance that out. I'm not married to any particular school, so I suppose I'm hoping that if I apply to enough of them I might get in with a few.

Also, how about the international schools? Does my international experience help me there?

Any thoughts based on that?

Thanks again.

To be blunt, anything in the US top 16 is going to be a huge stretch with your current GMAT score, period. Re-take the GMAT.

International experience isn't as big of an asset as it was in the early 90s or 80s. It's not uncommon anymore.

Again you should be in the mix for the US schools you mentioned -- but with a stronger GMAT score.

Thank you for the feedback, and the bluntness. Re-taking the gmat is becoming a stronger possibility...
