Hello

I am a 27 year old female of Indian Origin. I recently gave the GMAT and scored a 700. I have 5.6 years of experience in an IT field and a leadership role of about 2 years. My undergrad academics are good - i am a gold medalist and a rank holder. I was pretty sure i wanted to apply to top B schools but considering the recent economic state in the US, i am a little hesitant. I am considering doing an equivalent of an MBA in M.S (M.S in management sciences for instance) because even if i dont secure a financial aid, i will be able to handle the cost. Moreover, i am concerned about how the job market will look in the next two years(considering the current economy in the US for internationals) in which case if i do an M.S i will be able to return to my country without a huge mba loan on my shoulders. Now the question i have is, am i making the right choice? Should i just be confident about my chances of getting an mba now or should i just wait until the economy gets better?
