1) Brief description of your full-time work experience. What do you do?
Currently in the military. One of the "sexy" jobs that gains lots of media attention. High level of security clearance.
2) Your GMAT.
610 Q42/V33 IR 5. I started studying for about 5-6 weeks after I returned from a deployment in October, and I'm set to go back out soon. I really don't think I have the time to take this again, and provide strong essays for R2 applications.
3) College info: The name of the college, your GPA or grade average, your major, year of graduation.
Public Ivy League
GPA 2.9
Double in Economics & Mandarin Chinese
2010
-Labeled as learning "challenged" all through grade school for a moderate to serve stutter. I've overcome and beat all odds that have been against me. My MBA admission will be the same.
4) Significant college and post-college extra-curricular activities or community service, especially leadership experience.
I worked my first two years in college. My final two years of college I held the top position of the largest organization on campus. Working on averge 15-20hours a week, spiking over 80 hours a week during certain weeks.
5) Important certifications like CFA, CPA, FSA, or CA.
None, but I guess my security clearance can open doors for various companies.
6) Your target programs.
In order of preference -
1. Kelley FT
2. Notre Dame FT
3. Vanderbilt
4. UNC
5. Michigan
6. Washington at St Louis
7. Georiga
I'd like to go to the midwest, but honestly I know my GMAT/GPA are in the lower percentiles, so anywhere.
7) When you plan to apply?
Jan 2015, some schools thats R2 some R3
8) Your post-MBA goal.
Start my own brewery.
