JituGIS,
Since you're above the 80th percentile, no need to retake your score -- unless you think a, say, 40 point improvement is possible. Otherwise, your time is better spent improving your profiles in other ways. Feel free to send me your CV for some feedback.

Expert's post
Hi Jitu,

You have a strong profile.

Work Experience: You have ten years of work experience , and you have worked in 4 different countries for 8 years now which makes you a candidate with strong international experience.

Academics: Impressive- You have great GPA in your Bachelors and Masters . Your GMAT score : 700 (Q 48 V 38 both 82 percentile) is also good.

You seem to have good extra -curricular and community service experience as well.

Now answers to your questions :

Q- Will I have a chance?

In addition to the above mentioned components, your chances of selection will largely depend on how well you present your candidacy in your essays - your goals , accomplishments, leadership experiences etc. Also, you should have strong recommendation letters and crisp and precise resume outlining your career history and accomplishment.

Q - Should I re-take GMAT to bring my score to 720? Is it worth the effort since my academics are already strong.

Since you belong to the over represented applicant pool ( Indian, Male, IT )and you are targeting for top 25 global B-Schools, you will be facing tough competition, so retaking GMAT will be worth the effort.

Lastly, you have ten years of work experience, so I think you will benefit more from EMBA.

I hope it helped.
