SPECIFIC QUESTIONS TO YOU
-Your thoughts on my overall profile?
-Specific tips wrt USC and UCLA?
-I feel my work experience is not very strong because the company I worked for is very small and in the education sector. Your take on this?
-I have not yet decided as to what my post-MBA goals in my application should be. I have an inclination towards finance and consulting though. How can I make my goals seem synchronous with my work experience?
Any help and guidance that you can provide will be much appreciated!
You have a competitive profile for your target programs with Stanford being more of a stretch, because it's Stanford. USC and UCLA would be good fits for you.
The size of your company is an opportunity, because you probably were able to assume more responsibility than if you had gone to a larger, more structured firm, and a challenge: you need to work harder to educate the reader about your responsibilities and achievements. I'm confident you can do it. While not exactly onpoint, much of this point is relevant to your situation:
