Saw your great advice on your website, and want to say thank you for reading this.
Demographics: Asian, Male, 25 years old
1) Brief description of your full-time work experience. : Will be 3.5 years at matriculation working at a bulge bracket wealth management wire house. Working in the operations role, haven't had much movement in my career, but am getting great letters of recs from my two supervisors. There just weren't any opportunities that fitted my future career goals, but stuck around because I was able to complete the CFA program while working there
2) GMAT: 690, Q48, V 36, AWA 6 - [Took Gmat 1 time ]
3) College info:
Education: Undergraduate - UC Irvine 3.35 GPA - Business Economics
4) Extra-curricular activities: Completed CFA Level 3 (basically took the last 3 years of my life), help mentor other UCI students trying to break into finance.
5) Important certifications: CFA
6) Your target programs : MBA in - USC, UCLA, Cornell
7) Your post-MBA goal.
Post MBA goals: Investment Management - Would like to land an analyst position in equity research, at any buy side fund company.
