Hi

Please help with this one :

A merchant sold 1000 widgets with no profit or loss. For the next widgets he sold ffor a profit of 0.50$ each and now his total profit is p. Now calculate the whole profit he made including the 100 widgets.

Answer is :2p+1000

May be it should be "Now calculate the whole profit he made including the 1000 widgets"?

Yeah, sorry for the typo, you're right, it should be 1000 instead of 100.
