Hi KarishmaB

I could not fathom the subjunctive verb used in the question statement. I think the verb should have been "allows" as the "board" is singular. Can you please through some light on why D is correct?

Relaxations that Censorship board? I am confused what it means? Does it mean relaxations from the censorship board? what role does that play here?

Recommendations/proposals/directives need subjunctive.
The relaxations with proponents and critics are either a proposal or a directive. Their content will be given with "that + subjunctive"

Proponents consider relaxations that A allow B to provide C vital while critics denounce the relaxations...

It is similar to "the proposal that the govt. allow the pharma companies to ... has been widely accepted... " etc

To answer your query, here, "allow" serves as the base form of the verb rather than as the plural form.

Just by Reading it once and glancing through the options you can get the answer in 40 sec
what is them referring to?
only option d correct that mistake
