After getting a reject from a particular school once. what are te chances of selection if one reapplies with one additional year of work ex. Are school considerate to reapplicants ???

Gaurava,

If your additional year of work experience shows no forward progress (additional leadership, responsibilities, community involvement), then your odds won't improve. Schools want additional value. Generally speaking, there is a small but statistically clear advantage for reapplicants at most schools--that is, the admit rates at most schools are higher for reapps versus the applicant pool as a whole. However, it varies from school to school and from year to year. Historically, Michigan, Duke, UNC, and Texas among other schools have been very generous with reapplicants.
