y = f(x)
y -> least +ve number such that y+x = f(x)+x is integer
8.4+f(8.4) = 8.4+0.6 = 9
8.4-f(8.4) = 8.4-0.6 = 7.8

I am doing this because your JPG is not very clear.

You the man anandnk. It took me 1/2 hour to try and crack this question but could not do it. I was looking at this question with a totally different mindset.
