A number when divided by 3 leaves a remainder 1. when the quotient is divided by 2 it leaves a remainder 1 what will be the remainder when the number is divided by 6?

4. Sometime when answer choices are so naive, they themself reveal the answer.

Only 4 has reminder 1 when 4 is divided by 3. So no more work required.

Let x be the number
x=3m+1
m=2n+1
x=6n+4
Hence, 4 is the correct answer.

BTW there are numbers such as 16, 28 and so on that fit the bill here.
