D? Any of the answers ascertain that k is less than 5 and that rounded to the nearest 10th, d would be 0.2

OA is D.

Maybe I have a misconception of what "rounded to the nearest tenth" means.

If 0.246 rounded to the nearest tenth is 0.2 then the question is ok (and I've learend something that could be valuable on test day)

But if 0.246 rounded to the nearest tenth is 0.3 then there is something wrong with this question.

Why would .246 rounded to the nearest tenth = 0.3? After all, .246 is closer to .2 than it is to .3.

It is stupid... I know  .. but I initially thought that the 6 rounded the 4 to a 5 and then that 5 rounded the 2 to a 3... I definetly need a break..
