Facebook is great for connecting you to new friends, catching up with old friends. But people, if you go to b-school, please have some maturity in your facebook postings, especially if it is racist. Recruiters, and alums do occasionally browse the pages, and you DO NOT want to stand out like Sonupe does.

One of my friend screenshoted this post on Vandy’s facebook page. If I saw it, I wonder how many other people saw this.

Somehow there are people who still don't realize how their "internet life" really does affect their real life significantly.

Frankly, I'm not sure if a PSA is needed for this. If someone is dumb enough / intolerant enough / racist enough to post something like that, I certainly hope adcom takes it into consideration. I wouldn't want to be sitting next to people like that in my class.

This is him.
1) It seems a little sketch that he can't get a student loan. I have several Nigerian classmates, who had no issues. Potential flag!
2) If he pulls stunts like this, the donors and classmates may not be as kind next time.
