If a continuous cable 10 m. long were marked off at intervals ┬╝ and also 1/5, and then if the cable were cut at each mark, how many different size lengths of cable would result?


0.25 - 0.5 - 0.75 - 1.0
0.2 - 0.4 - 0.6 - 0.8

0.2 - 0.05 - 0.15 - 0.1 - 0.1 - 0.15 - 0.05 - 0.2

0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2

4 different lengths.

Yup another C.

Maybe an easier way would be just to draw it out and calculate the different pieces.

Draw a line for 0-10

Draw vertical lines for 2.5, 5, 7.5
Draw vertical lines for 2, 4, 6, 8
Calculate difference between the vertical lines.
