Q49 V39 - 690

I took a Kaplan mock Q49 V39 and total - 690.

Can anyone tell me how this is possible?? Shouldn't this raw score translate to 720?

Can you tell me which email your are referring to? I registered on the Kaplan site with Kaplan GMAT Premier 2014 membership and this is the score of my 5th practice CAT.
I have attached the screen shot of my test result and other details are as below -

Enrollment Expiration: 06/23/2014
Enrollment ID: 1027939005

Hi Eli, I took another Kaplan test Q47 V39 and this time it shows me a 660 but I'm pretty sure this is a 670+ score.
Am I missing something or is the calculation flawed?

Its a real damper on my confidence and my exam's next week :(

Hi Rujuta,

Where are you getting those numbers from? To the best of my knowledge, the GMAC hasn't released a formula for converting from raw to official scores (though they might have, and I missed it!), and most conversion tables are reconstructions by test-prep companies that may not be 100% accurate.

I'm sure you guys know much more about GMAT but Ive never seen a score 660 with Q47 V39. Are you saying this is ok?

Honestly, I'm not too sure. The GMAC plays it pretty close to the vest with sectional scores and how exactly they generate a 200-800 score. If you think we've done something wrong, I'm happy to take a closer look--but it would be really helpful if you could point me to the source or sources that make you doubt the conversion. Are you just referring to other reported scores from these forums? Are you looking at a conversion chart somewhere? The more information you get me, the faster our team will be able to check your results!
