Q9)
On the number line, the distance between point A and point C is 5 and the distance between point B and point C is 20. Does point C lie between point A and point B?

(1) The distance between point A and point B is 25.
(2) Point A lies to the left of point B.

With stmtn 1 , point C lies between A and B .

With stmtn 2 . it can be left or right of C by 5 units and be still on left of B.So C may not be between A and B

1: to have ab = 25, c must be in between because bc = 20 and ac = 5 so the total should be 25.
a-----c--------------------b

2: it could be a-----c--------------------b or c-----a---------------b so nsf.
