Queen's offers the MBA for Science and Technology. Despite the name applicants do not need degrees in a scientific or technical field as long as they have 2 or more years work experience in one of these fields. The program lasts 12 months divided into 4 stages. The decision to end the 2 year program and convert to a 1 year program was made c. 1994 in part because the school sought to distinguish itself from other MBA programs in Canada.
Another interesting aspect of Queen's was the influence of academics trained at University of Chicago.
Queen's is located in Kingston, Ontario.
Note that the MBAST program starts in May each year.

FT 2003 ranked Queen's #40 worldwide- just below Rochester and Ohio State and just above Rice and UC Irvine.
EIU 2003 ranked it #56 worldwide- near Rice, Maryland, Oxford, and Southern Methodist University.
