Bachelors Degree is called undergrad - equivalent of engg, B.Com etc.
Yes this is confusing. In India we call this as graduation.
Masters Degree is the graduation. MSc etc. is grad. Again this is confusing. In India and MS or an MSc or a BCom would be called post-grad.
About converting percentages into GPA - try this site wes.org. But if you are in Gujarat there is this institute - IAES. Website is http://www.iaesgujarat.org
. One of my friends is a member there and he said that they would convert your percentages into a GPA. I enquired and was told that most US schools would do the same. So the formula is generally accepted one across the schools. I am told that most US schools accept the GPA conversion norm followed by IAES.
