Query: GMAT Time Management [#permalink] New post 03 Feb 2010, 09:23
Hello all,
I have query regarding GMAT time management. I generally finish quants section 25 - 30 mins before time. Would it affect my score if I consume 5-10 mins or more on the last question.
In other words, Is time consumed on a question one of the factors that determines the score ?

No, time on a problem does not affect your score.

Only right/wrong/unanswered problems are what affect your score

If you have good speed, make sure you carry accuracy as well.

Gmat quant specially DS is trapped, so be careful.

You are asking a very good question and many have discussed it here a while ago. Most believe that time is not a factor. At least prep companies continue to suggest that guessing gets you result, and that assumes there is no penalty for guessing fast.
