Hi

I am trying to build my profile for MBA. I know a person personally who is a fellow at Harvard Law School. I want to do a research project with him, but before I approach him, I would like to know can fellow students really help get a research opportunity at Harvard like something under their guidance.

The student cannot admit you to Harvard, but he can certainly decide to work with you personally. In general though, research work is not going to distinguish you for an MBA, only for a PhD in business.
