Query Regarding GMAT Section Score [#permalink] New post 04 Mar 2011, 10:32
Hi,

I have read many experiences of people who had already took their gmat exam but for none of them the section scores exceeded 50 even for people who got 760 i am asking this because in OG they said that the section scores will range from 0-60 can someone please explain how to interpret the section scores.

Thanks In Advance

The highest score I've come across for verbal and quant is 51. This score is so high that GMAT does not distinguish it from the theoretical top score of 60.

So you can think of 60 as the theoretical max and 51 as the practical max.
