Hello. This may be a stupid question but it's not clicking...but how do you find the surface area of a 4 cm cube? How does it become 4*4*6? Please explain. Thank you.

4cm per side, right?

4x4 = surface area for one side of the cube

6 sides to a cube... SO

4 x 4 x 6 = total surface area

Thank you so much for that quick reply. That is where I got confused; I did not realize that a 4CM cube meant that each side was 4CM. I thought that 4CM was referring to the area of each side, making the sides 2CM each. Again, thank you for the clarification!
