Question/Advice on Withdrawing from Early Action

I am a long time lurker and have used the forums to get much guidance so I'm aware that I'll get some backlash from this especially considering I'm posting on a Fuqua forum.
I got in Early Action and gladly paid my deposit of $3k. It was and is my top choice, but my new wife did not get a post grad school job offer there - it is a very specific field she is pursuing and has one in another city where I would be going to another top program - basically a peer school. Not like I applied EA and waited to get into HBS or something...they're right on par with each other.
I waited for her to hear back from her last interview this week and she didn't get it. Not sure what to do here. I plan to go to B school this fall. Spent a ton of time gmat prepping and applying so not sure what to do here. I'm genuinely worried Fuqua would be mad and call the other school or something despite getting my deposit...I think this even more so b/c it's late in the game and honestly, if I could I would be so happy to go there.
We were both really confident she'd get a job there b/c the raleigh/durham area is pretty huge and Fuqua was a top choice for me so I applied EA. Did not expect this to happen.
Understand if Fuqua people aren't fans of this, but would love a little guidance here if I can get it.
