Question for 1st round admits [#permalink] New post 07 Mar 2007, 13:28
I understand that business schools tpyically let people in off their Wait Lists when applicants who have been previously admitted inform the schools that they are not interested in attending.

When do first round admits typically have to make this decision?

Varies by school. For GSB, its by March 21. For Cornell R1 and R2 it was Jan 16th I believe.

Seemed like UNC gave some decisions admit or ding or rolled over future rounds as they went forward...

IE R1 waitlister was dropped off with R2 notification

Thanks. I hope that some Chicago GSB admits decide not to attend (to improve my Wait List chances).
