Hi All,

I am planning to pursue MBA in marketing. My company ( a leading semiconductor company) has a form and there is below question


Why do you want to pursue this coursework/program?

I want to know your opinions also to understand what answer could be most persuasive and provide a good reason to take this coursework?

Please let me know what you all think.

Well ultimately you want to give your company the perception that an MBA is going to make you more valuable to the company. So I would discuss the skills, network, ability, etc that you will gain and how that will add value to your current/future positions. I would also talk to your manager, or consider what you future prospects at xyz company is going to be so that you can formulate a plan of how an MBA will fit in with that.

If they are going to help you with tuition you have to show that you are happy with the company and how you can see a future with them and plan to be with them for the long haul. The last thing they want is to help with an MBA and then have you leave the company.
