Question on applying to PT program [#permalink] New post 26 Apr 2007, 06:41
I've been reading some of the threds and it appears to me that some people would apply to PT program outside of their home state. I always thought you need to be already living in the state and have a job there in order to apply. How does that work?

Right now I'm considering FT but if that doesn't work out I would like to attend a top PT program. The problem is the state where I reside has no reputable PT program and I don't want to risk relocation before an acceptance from a school. But on the other hand, if I get accept to, e.g. Chi or Kellog or UCLA, but can't find a job when I actually get there then I'd be in big trouble. And I don't even know if you can even apply to a PT program outside of your home state.

I am almost sure to put my money on saying that all the top ranked weekend programs (Those are also called PT) have out of state students.
