Question on postbacc math course to address Q score [#permalink]

I took my GMAT about 6 weeks back, planning on applying for fall '08. Breakdown was 720 Q45/V44, 78% in math, 97% in verbal. Just missed the magic ~80% mark on Quant.

I also got a C in Calculus and Statistics back in college. Obviously this doesn't look too well. Should I take a calc & stat class at a local community college or do something via distance learning (like the Stanford Mathematics & Distance Learning course)?
