Few question if someone can answer
1) Am I allowed to wear writs watch during exam? Specifically to time breaks! If not, than how do you time breaks?
2) About score reporting, Columbia and HBS both has two different programs--MBA and MBA Fulltime. Anyone knows difference?
About Test Center!
1) How big is locker normally, can you fit some food, drinks easily! I am going to San Jose center but any info will help.
2) I read somewhere that after taking break when you comeback, you have to immediately start exam. Any truth in this? or I can take 5 min break and spend 5 min on my desk to relax!
Chirag, I can answer a few questions:
1. Nothing is allowed except your id (
Passport + One more photo id), you and your cloths. You must use center's wall clock to keep track of your breaks.
2. Lockers are big enough for food or drink. But not for gallon size drinks
3. This is true. As you finish the first section and take the break, your computter will be locked, displaying your photo and countdown timer. After the break when you enter the testing room, the proctor will unlock the computer for you and your instructions page will appear and you will have a minute or two to start the next section. About the break, its upto you how you take your break, either outside the testing room or on your seat. Only thing is you need to be quiet.
Eventhough I took the test in San Francisco but these are general things that apply to every center.
Apart from these, I would suggest you to take a jacket with you. I have heard from many people on the forum as well as outside the forum, that the environment in some test centers is cold enough to distract you.
Best of luck.
