I kind of answered this in your last post. It's a mistake to submit a rushed, sloppy application just to meet a round 1 deadline. This totally torpedoes the benefit you gain from applying in round 1, which is that there are more slots open so your profile may still appear 'fresh'. If you apply in round 2 someone with a profile similar to yours may already have been admitted, so why take you? *However* this does not mean you should delay your otherwise well-prepared and well-edited application just so you can re-take a single class that you once got a C in, or in hopes you'll get a promotion you may not get, or just so you can add another two months to a community involvement to make it seem more "long-term."
