R2 Decision Dates [#permalink] New post 18 Jan 2007, 02:59
So, the most important thing in my life these days is watching the calender roll towards R2 decision announcements. I still have interviews to plan for (hopefully), but I thought it might be useful to have all the announcement dates in one handy place.

These are just some dates for schools that are popular with GMATclub members. If anyone wants to add any additional dates to this list, just post them and we can tack it to the original message. Also, if anyone knows whether a school waits to announce on the deadline, or if they let decisions trickle out throughout the round, we can add that info as well.

Here's what I found (please post any corrections):
Duke: 3/8
Michigan: 3/15
INSEAD: 3/16
Berkeley (R2): 3/19
Wharton: 3/22
Cornell: 3/23
Virginia: 3/23
Dartmouth: 3/23
LBS 3/23
Kellogg: 3/26
Harvard: 3/28
Chicago: 3/28 - Interview invitations 1/24 - 2/20; if no invite by 2/21 you are denied
UCLA: 3/24 (rolling)
Yale: 3/31
NYU: 4/1
MIT: 4/2
Stanford: 4/5
Berkeley(R3): 4/30
Columbia: 12 weeks (deadline was 1/10 so I guess starting 4/4)

Looks like Duke, Michigan and Wharton are on the ball. NYU, MIT & Stanford are lazy as hell. Duke could really relieve a lot of anxiety early on. It would sure be nice to have a couple of admits in hand by the time that Stanford deadline rolls around - otherwise there will be a lot of praying and/or crying.

Columbia started reviewing application on the 10th of January, so not everyone will have it by the beggining of april...
I won't, will only finish my application tomorrow...

INSEAD R2 - March 16th - Long, long way to go...

Would HBS feel obliged to admit me if I mentioned to them that their R2 results come out on my birthday?

It'll be interesting to see if GSB pulls their decision dates forward again as they did for R1.

I think UCLA is 3/29, but its rolling so technically admits will trickle out before the deadline.

UCLA says that they are "rolling" but sure didn't pan out that way in Round 1 :-D

AHAHHA yeah true.... my only advice is- do not expect a decision until the posted decision deadline.... in R1, approx 60 admits were sent out on 12/20... and no other decisions have been sent out since, not even WL or dings.

WBF: 60 admits only? How many matriculating?
Maybe even I have a chance on R2...
If I don't get anywhere on R2 (LBS UCLA or Columbia), then last round I'll be the champion of applications, maybe 10...

As others have pointed out UCLA is March 29.

Berkeley (HAAS) R2 decision date is March 19.

Good luck for anyone in R2 for NYU... most people in R1 haven't even been invited for interviews yet (myself included)!

They already pushed their original deadline from Jan 15 to Feb 15. They definitely win the Most Tardy Bschool award this year.

Cornell is on that track as well. R2 notification date was Dec 18th, and I finally completed my interview earlier this week, go figure!

son of a b*tch!

I just called Cornell to see what is up with their online status thing... it said that I was missing 1 rec while it also shows 2 recs recieved.

Here's what the perky lady says:
Ohh well that's weird! It looks like you have both recs. Oh.... the second rec was recieved on jan 4th but we printed that on jan 3rd. Let me print that rec out for you and get change your status to complete.

Well..I'm like... sh*t. Thanks, Cornell. My app has been sitting there for like 2 weeks cuz nobody bothered to print our my second rec which was received BEFORE the deadline.

-1 point for you

I suggest everyone in R3/R2 to call their schools and make sure all your stuff is in order

Good tip fluffydot. I'm going to do that right now.
