Rankings of Mid-Level B-Schools? [#permalink]

Is there a reliable source with listings for rankings of B-schools that range from the "second tier" down?

I'm never sure what people mean by "second tier" given varying opinions on how many schools can be in a tier. Most people trust US News rankings the most, but I don't like their rankings below 40'ish until 100.
Pittsburgh (Katz) - #85 Thunderbird - #75 Pepperdine - #75 SMU (Cox) - #57
These schools should be ranked higher. When you look at the schools ranked higher than them, it is really off. You probably haven't even heard of the business schools ranked above them, and maybe not even the institution as a whole. I know they use a system, but I think it fails post-50.
I like Financial Times ranking better at that tier if you are looking for an idea of which schools from that tier to look into. I'm not saying that FT has everything right at all or schools in the right order (definitely not, at least near the top); but given that they rank around 50 US schools, they mostly choose the right schools to be in the their list.
Then again, you could be thinking second tier means anything out of the top 10. Therefore, this was a huge waste of time.
Those are just my feelings towards the rankings of lower-ranked, yet still quality schools.

Rankings are pretty irrelevant for mid-level schools.
You should instead focus on fit and local reputation/placement.
