Has anyone seen these questions in the actual test (medium to medium hard level)?

Standard deviation
Permutation

What quant topics also rarely come up unless you have absolutely bad luck on test day? Thanks!

I never saw a Standard Deviation question on the real thing (or in GMATprep that I recall), at least not a difficult one. There might have been a question that asked something simple like "which is the greatest Standard Deviation" or something like that, but none where I actually had to calculate it. I scored 48Q the first time and 50Q the second, so I should have been in the mix for some of the harder questions.

I do recall seeing permutation questions.
