hi guys iam pursuing my B.tech in computer science and studying in my last year and wana get into field of finance....can u plz suggest me the way to get into msf..:roll: :roll:

i have a strong math background..and also sufficient knowledge of programming language.(as iam doing my computer engineering.)

wat kind of gmat score should i aim.. and wat all colleges should i try for....as i don have any work experience :( ...and iam planning to get in finance this year itself..that is right after my grad....so i wont have any work ex. Plz drop ur suggetions guys....

In general, a GMAT score of 700+ makes you competitive; a GMAT score of 750+ is considered exceptional. Where you should apply really depends on a lot of factors, one of which would be your GMAT score.

Another factor is where you want to go in finance. Finance is an extremely broad field. Since you mentioned math and programming, I take it that you want to become a quant. If that is the case, your math and/or computer science should be exceptional. Being comfortable with stochastic calculus would definitely be a plus. If you're comfortable with optimization and algorithms, that should be a plus too. You should consider the more quantitative masters programs.

Sorry for being vague, but the answer is: it depends.
