RC and CR preparation materials [#permalink] New post 10 Jul 2006, 06:33
Hi all,

I am new to the club. I am currently preparing a set of study materials for RC and CR. I've completed the Kaplan book and currently working on the Kaplan 800, so I am looking for something more challenging. Please let me know how useful you find the following materials.

* The Official LSAT SuperPrep
* Next 10 Actual, Official LSAT Preptests
* 1000 RC
* 1000 CR

It seems both 1000 RC and 1000 CR only provide answer but not explanation, so I'm not sure whether I should use it as the primary study materials. Any advice is welcome. Thanks a lot.

If you are looking for more challnging questions, LSAT is *definitely* tougher. Realistically, if you are looking for questions similar to the ones on actual gmat, OG11, OG10, GMATPrep and PowerPrep are the best.

P.S. To be honest, Kaplan sucks for verbal. Their questions are not even close to actual gmat questions, and a lot of times they are badly written. I highly recommend you to go with OG11 or OG10. I have not tried 1000SC and 1000CR, but I hear they are good.

Thanks for the advice on the Kaplan. I've OG 10, a few paper tests and Powerprep. But before working on those, I want to get more drill on the CR and RC. Which LSAT book would you recommend? Thanks
