Real GMAT Integrated Reasoning Section [#permalink] New post 26 Jan 2013, 12:16
Hi,
Is the integrated reasoning section in any kind of order such as multi-source reasoning first and then graphics analysis or something like that? Also, any idea if the section is divided pretty equally between the 4 different question types (MSR, TA, GI, and TPA)?

Thanks!

No, there is no specific order in which questions appear. Though the IR test is not adaptive, the order of specific type of question may not be same.

Regarding how specific types of questions are distributed across the IR section, check out below video from MGMAT:

and no, the questions are not equally divided. To illustrate: some get 1 MSR and some get 2 of them.

When you get an MSR question - it will appear as a package. That is, if there are 3 questions related to that MSR passage, you will see those 3 questions one after another. Then you'll see another type of question (Graphics, table analysis, or two part analysis).
