Reapplying to MBA program after previous acceptance

Hi Stacy,
This fall I will be reapplying to a top program I was previously accepted to this past spring. Due to personal/family reasons, I made the gut-wrenching decision to not accept admission as my priorities had shifted as a result of my circumstances (which have now improved drastically). Now that I am again 100% prepared to pursue my MBA, how do you recommend I demonstrate that I am genuinely committed to the program despite my decision to not enroll in the last application cycle (applying in round 1, improving my GMAT score, contacting admissions office, explaining my circumstances in my reapplicant essay, etc.)? Am I at a serious disadvantage because I did not accept the previous offer of admission?
Thank you for any guidance you can provide!
