Hi All,

I have few questions

1. Could anyone provide me with sample recommendation letters if there for MBA apps.

2. What points should be stressed on in recommendation letters for sure.

3. Do we mention any weaknesses in recommendation letters.


4. If we mention any example of an achievement in the letter, should that match the one I could be writing in my essays or should it be another one. Which is better?

Thanks

Letters of recommendation are going to differ for each school since they are based on a recommendation form. Most also include an evaluation grid on a number leadership traits.

The points to be stressed are going to depend on the questions each school asks. Most do want to know about your strengths and weaknesses (real weaknesses, not strengths disguised as weaknesses). Recommendation letters should, in part, corroborate the stories in your essays. However, they should also add additional details and examples that your essays don't have.
