Hello People,
I have been a lurker on this forum.I am looking forward to apply to B-Schools for Fall of 2011, long way to go.
I had this question in mind and could not get anything from the search function here.
Q)How would the adcom treat recommendation letters from family members.Suppose, if you are a part of your family business, where your immediate supervisor is your family member itself. Would ad com have any reservations or see inherent bias if the reco's come from the family members.
Any pointers on how to handle such a situation would be appreciated. Links to the posts if already discussed are also appreciated.

Some schools specifically mention that recommendations from family members,friends are not allowed.You can try getting it from clients or from non-profits in case you are involved with any.
