Recommendation Schedule [#permalink] New post 08 Feb 2006, 13:53
Hi,

I plan to enroll in Sept 2007. I've only worked for 1 company (5 years) and I am resigning shortly to start a new business. Since I will essentially have to wait for atleast 8 months until I can even go for an early application, I plan on getting my recommendations from my current employer now.

Would it pose any problem to use the current year's recommendation form when I will actually be applying for next year? Also are there any special policies and guidelines in obtaining recommedations earlier than normal?

Thanks!

I don't think there will be any problems in terms of logistics or policies, but be careful about raising ethical questions about getting a reco from your current boss under false pretenses.
