It is must to have a recommender who is/was my boss. Can i have a person in the same role as mine but with @ 1yr more exp write recommendation? I believe the role of the recommender doesnt play a role? Correct me if iam wrong :)
Iam asking this because the person whom i used to report till last mnth is back at his home town and may not in a position to give recommendation.? Does it affect if the both the recommenders are persons with whom i worked in the last 2yrs? one: my previous manager; second: my peer(but with more exp)

I think it is ok.One recommender can be your Supervisor and the other your Peer. But both people should be familiar with you.

a peer is ok, the more senior above you the better. Supervisors are preferred but schools understand if you can't get one for whatever reason.

If I don't respond to a PM that is not one of the previously mentioned trash can destined messages, please don't take it personally I get so many messages I have a hard to responding to most. The more interesting, compelling, or humorous you message the more likely I am to respond.
