Referring to essay #2 in essay #1..ok? [#permalink] New post 05 Feb 2007, 20:26
Hey,

I have two essays to submit. In the first essay, as it stands written now, I touch on a subject that is discussed in detail in the 2nd essay. As the topic deserves further explanation in the 1st essay, is it ok to say that I cover it in the 2nd essay?

I'm touching on some lessons learned while abroad in essay #1, and one of those lessons is the major theme of essay #2.

Any thoughts?

I know people do it so I'm sure you could but ....

I think it makes for really poor writing. I had areas I glossed over then discussed in great detail in other essays but didn't specifically say "see essay two" ..

If they wonder about it they'll have their questions answered when they get to the next essay
