regarding date availability for GMAT [#permalink] New post 14 Sep 2008, 06:48
Hi,
Can anyone guide me about booking date for the exam.
I went to the mba.com today trying to get a date in the month of october it shows all booked for one test center and for the other it shows no appts for the whole month !!! is it common that not even a single date is available!!!

should i wait for few days to book the date !!is there a probability of getting the dates in the same month

Hi spriya,

Normally, approximately 1/3rd of the applicants will cancel one week before their chosen test date. Hence, it is normal that you will see all the dates for October 2008 already taken, but if you wait till 1 October 2008, a lot of the dates will open up... I'm thinking of giving the exam in Oct as well..

All the best for your prep...

the best time is to book your dates 1 week prior, as lots of people cancel their dates. you can see for yourself . for eg, in the next week all the date s will be available.
