If you want any shot at those schools, you need to retake the GMAT. Score at least a 700, and ideally a 720+ to be safe.

Hi Alex,

I have a question regarding the optional essay, which generally asks if there is anything else I think the Admissions Committee should know about me to evaluate my candidacy.
Do you think its a good idea or a bad one if I use that essay to mention that me and my partner are both applying to that school?

"me and my partner are both applying to that school? "

I fail to see that how is that a positive...at max its not a negative

Ideally one should use additional essay to highlight sth +ve, the one which can be told through standard essays

Not sure what you mean or why you would think it would matter.

Hi Alex,

I did take your advice and retook the GMAT. But i got a lower score than my first time around. Even then I got an acceptance offer from Ross!! My GMAT really had me worried but I guess things turned out pretty good.

Regards,
