Post MBA: I would like to return to education to work on the district or state level or possibly in a network of charter schools

Your GMAT is stellar. Your GPA is low for schools like HBS, Columbia, Tuck, MIT, and Stanford. It is also low for Yale and Darden, but they may be more forgiving and are excellent fits for you. You may also want to consider Georgetown.
The key challenge for you will be showing that you need an MBA. It's doable, especially if you are looking at those dual degree programs, but I believe the schools will look at that aspect of your application very closely.
