I am Pradeep, managing consultant - Risk manager, and of coz MBA aspirant, for a bit too long now. I tried GMAT in 2010, 2011 managed 640 - 620 - 660. Some were unfortunate situations some were poor preperations. Finally managed to study for 3 months, had a not so bad GMAT exam experience and managed a 700.
Which raises my hope and want to put it to test and seek independent validation.

I am not an expert but here's my view on your profile.
> You have around 8 years of work experience, plus you have mentioned the fact that in 6 years you were promoted from the execution level to a managerial level. This seems to be a good work ex for your target schools. > Your academics are really strong. > Your work experience and the extra curricular activities show your versatility, which is what the b schools look for. > GMAT score of 700 is good, but i don't know how will admission officials will look at it considering that it was on your fourth attempt. But personally, I don't think that this would be a problem for you.
> Your chances of getting into your target B schools really depends on how well you write your essays.
> My view is that considering your profile, you should apply to INSEAD, IMD, LBS. You stand a good chance provided you write your essays well.
