I’d consider most of the programs you mention to be reasonable reaches
– perhaps NUS would be on-par, and INSEAD a very
high reach. Therefore, I suggest adding some schools in the on-par range, which would be programs on the level of Rice MBA (Jones b-school) in US or IE in Spain.
As for the 2-year vs. 1-year question, I don’t have a clear answer – there are benefits and drawbacks to each, and so it’s a “gray” area. Perhaps apply to both 1- and 2-year programs, and if you end up with multiple acceptances and the need to choose among them, you can make the decision at that time, based on the specifics of the schools and your situation.
