(A) food allergies such as milk => wrong
(B) food allergies like milk => wrong
(C) food allergies such as to milk => GOOD
(D) food allergies like alergy of milk => wrong
(E) food allergies such as for milk => wrong

We say "I am allergic to GMAT".

such as means for example. so like is wrong in this sentence.

that eliminates B and D

allergic to milk is the correct idiom.

so it should me such as to
so C is my choice.

A is worng because it compares allergies with milk. B is wrong because it compares Researchers with milk. D doesn't make much sense. E doesn't look very well. I choose C.
