Hi, I've read thourgh MGMAT RC and apart from encouraging to take notes it does little more. I've heard that LSAT are more complicated than GMAT RC, but are they the same format and question types? Any good publication with LSAT readings or tough GMAT RC?

Thank you ;)

saruba,

It is correct that LSAT passages are tougher than the GMAT passages. There is a book called Powerscore LSAT RC Bible. I haven't gone through this book but I have heard good things about the material.

As far as tough RC passages are concerned, you can always check out the RC section of the GMAT club forum. There are few tough (LSAT) RC's being posted by few members almost daily..!!
In my opinion, that would be sufficient along with the OG stuff as far as RC is concerned.

i think u can practice initially the lsat RCs but a month before ur actual test, start practicing GMAT short RCs coz on average a person gets 3 short passages and one long passage in the test.. so in order to complete the questions with in time, practice more short passages.. OG is the best guide for the gmat RC practice..

I have found Kaplan RC to be somewhat tough (though not always EXACTLY matching the gmat).

Hi saruba,

I wouldn't recommend LSAT RC's for GMAT practice. LSAT passages come with 6 to 8 questions per passage--this strongly encourages you note down specific examples and opinions, because the odds are good any given detail will show up in at least one question. The GMAT passages, however, can have as few as 3 questions per passage. As a result, it is a better strategy to pay attention to broad topics and skim over details, returning to research them as needed, because any given example is that much less likely to be referenced in a problem.
